The Paloma PH28 7.4 gpm gas water heaters are designed as a whole house system for larger homes with 2-3 bathrooms. It comes in models for outdoor, indoor and indoor direct vent installation so is able to suit most applications.
The Paloma PH28 offers two unique safety features not found in many competitive tankless heaters:
1. Oxygen Depletion Sensing; If high levels of carbon Monoxide are sensed, it automatically increases intake air fan speed. If this does not work, then the heater is automatically shut down and an error message displayed.
2. Film type Overheat Sensing; Most competitive units sense overhaeting in only one location, the Paloma PH28 senses over the entife heating chamber.
